Hantec Group Sponsors "Electric Shadow 2025" — A Celebration of Film, Culture and Community in Leicester

Hantec Group is pleased to sponsor "Electric Shadow 2025", a film festival in Leicester dedicated to showcasing the richness and evolution of Chinese cinema. Featuring a blend of celebrated classics and newly released titles, the event offers audiences in the United Kingdom a week-long journey into diverse narratives, artistic expression, and cultural perspectives.

On 25 November, the festival begin with an engaging opening ceremony attended by guests from the arts, local organizations, and the wider community. Hantec Group joined the occasion to mark the beginning of this cultural showcase.

During the ceremony, our representative shared remarks highlighting the importance of cultural initiatives that bring people together. The speech emphasised Hantec’s ongoing commitment to supporting programmes that broaden cross-cultural understanding and encourage meaningful dialogue beyond the financial sector.

While Hantec Group continues to innovate in finance and technology, we also recognise the value of supporting programmes that enrich communities. Cultural activities play an important role in strengthening social bonds, celebrating diversity, and encouraging mutual appreciation.

Our sponsorship of "Electric Shadows 2025" reflects this belief. By contributing to a platform that highlights cultural heritage through films, Hantec demonstrated its dedication to long-term community development and responsible corporate citizenship.
The opening evening featured a variety of traditional performances that added vibrancy and depth to the celebration. From classical Chinese musical pieces to theatrical cultural arts, the programme created a lively artistic atmosphere that resonated with audiences and set the tone for the week ahead. These performances not only complemented the film festival’s sprit but also showcased the breath of Chinese cultural traditions  through live expression.

Hantec Group looks forward to supporting more initiatives that encourage cultural discovery and strengthen ties within the global community. "Electric Shadows 2025" stands as a reminder that film has the unique power to binge cultures, spark dialogue, and bring people together — values that Hantec Group will continue to champion.
